If you’ve ever made New Year’s resolutions, you know they often last about as long as New Year’s Day. That’s too bad, because many would serve us well if they were kept. As we begin 2021, we’re coming off a year like few—if any—of us have ever experienced before, and into a year that is yet to be defined. As we do, this series of messages will challenge us to make some resolutions that can serve us well—no matter what the year holds. To make our resolutions, we’ll look at a marvelous description of a wise person in Proverbs 31: “The Wife of Noble Character.” It’s written about a wife and mother, but it can apply to every one of us.
