Lakeview Youth

Welcome to Lakeview Youth where we desire to commission life-long disciples with a deeply formed life and faith rooted in Jesus.
Our Student Ministry exists to help middle and high school students know Jesus, grow in their faith, and build lasting friendships.
We believe every student matters. Whether you've been in church your whole life or are walking through our doors for the very first time, you'll find a place where you are welcomed, known, and encouraged. Our incredible team of adult leaders is passionate about investing in students, building genuine relationships, and helping them take their next step with Jesus.
Our goal is to create a fun, Christ-centered environment where students can ask honest questions, discover what the Bible teaches, and experience authentic community.

Middle and high school students gather together for an engaging evening that includes:

  • High-energy games and activities

8:30 PM | Pickup
Our evening wraps up at 8:30 PM, and we can't wait to see everyone back the following Wednesday!

Middle & High School Sundays

Middle and High School youth gather during our 10:30am worship service for games, teaching, and discussion around biblical principles, themes, and topics. Our Adult Team Members lead the morning in ways that allow the time to be just as accessible for teenagers who are at church for the very first time as well as those who have gone to church their whole life.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Middle School students will be on a journey through the full scope of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation, exploring the major people, events, themes, and doctrines that shape the Christian faith, while High School students will enter into an in-depth Bible study on a book of the Bible.

10:00 AM | Hangout Time
Students begin gathering around 10:00 AM to play games, connect with friends, and meet our leaders before class begins.

10:30 AM | Large Group
We kick off the morning with a fun game or activity followed by a 10-minute, Bible-centered teaching designed specifically for their age group. The teaching introduces one clear biblical truth that students can immediately begin discussing and applying in their small groups.

Small Groups
After the teaching, students break into grade- and gender-specific small groups where they discuss the lesson, ask questions, encourage one another, and spend time praying together. These groups are led by caring adult leaders who are passionate about helping students grow in their faith.

After Class
When class ends, students are welcome to reconnect with their families or stay for a few minutes to enjoy the game room and spend time with friends before heading home.

Confirmation

Confirmation is a two-year discipleship journey through the Old and New Testaments. This program is designed to walk students through the Bible to help them understand and strengthen their faith. They will emerge with a personal Statement of Faith and biblical knowledge to carry them forward.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Confirmands meet the first Wednesday of the month before Youth Group from October through May. Any student in grade 7 through grade 11 is welcome to join and complete two consecutive years of study where they will memorize Scripture and learn the context and importance of the Bible.
